Job Description

The hiring establishment is a hospitality company dedicated to providing exceptional guest experiences through impeccable cleanliness and service standards. This company operates within the hotel industry, known for its commitment to sustainability, guest satisfaction, and employee growth. The organization embraces core values such as People Are Our Capability, Hearts That Serve, Only Excellence, Stay Nimble, and Own It, reflecting its dedication not only to guests but also to the development and well-being of its employees. As a hospitality leader, the company invests in ongoing training and career advancement, offering clear growth paths that empower team members to elevate their careers within the organization. Such a work environment fosters respect, professionalism, and innovation.

The role being offered is designed for individuals who are passionate about maintaining cleanliness in high-traffic public spaces and contributing to the overall guest experience. Specifically, the position focuses on the maintenance and cleaning of public areas, including all hard and textile surfaces, restrooms, elevators, and employee designated spaces such as break rooms and restrooms. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring that guests encounter clean, inviting, and well-maintained environments during their stay.

A key component of the position is adherence to sustainability practices aligned with the company's EarthView program. Employees are expected to use chemicals safely and effectively, guided by Material Safety Data Sheets and OSHA standards, ensuring both personal safety and environmental responsibility. The work schedule requires flexibility, including the possibility of working on weekends and holidays, with physical demands such as standing for long periods, walking, lifting, bending, and reaching. The employer values safety and adherence to protocols, including blood borne pathogen precautions.

Beyond routine cleaning duties, this position offers opportunities for growth within the housekeeping department, beginning potentially as a Room Inspector progressing to Housekeeping Supervisor and eventually an Executive Housekeeper. This career path provides a roadmap for those seeking to develop leadership skills and advance in the hospitality industry.

The role is ideal for individuals who have a high school diploma or equivalent and possess previous related cleaning or housekeeping experience, though this is preferred rather than mandatory. Candidates must demonstrate strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to upholding the company's standards of excellence. As part of a team, the incumbent will also collaborate closely with management and other staff to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all guests and employees. The company promotes continuous learning and sustainable practices, making this role suitable for those who care deeply about quality and environmental stewardship while building a rewarding career in hospitality.
