Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous dining or hospitality experience preferred
  • Enjoys working with seniors and providing excellent customer service
  • Ability to interact professionally and courteously with residents, guests, and team members
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
  • Demonstrates good judgment, time management, and communication skills
  • Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift trays, dishes, and supplies up to 25-50 lbs
  • Possible exposure to cleaning chemicals and food service equipment
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • Comfort interacting closely with residents during meals

Job Duties

  • Take meal and beverage orders and serve food in a friendly, professional, and timely manner
  • Ensure residents and guests are satisfied with their meals and dining experience
  • Maintain knowledge of daily specials, menus, and food items to assist residents with selections
  • Set up, maintain, and clean dining room tables, side stations, and surrounding areas
  • Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules
  • Practice proper food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including completing assigned checklists
  • Support orientation and training of new servers as needed
  • Maintain high standards of appearance, cleanliness, and hospitality
  • Assist with dining room organization, flow, and supply placement
  • Perform other duties as assigned
