The role primarily involves retail operations duties focusing on maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of the store and its surroundings. Responsibilities extend to managing critical cleanliness tasks such as sweeping, mopping, cleaning spills as they occur, and maintaining restrooms and breakroom areas. The employee will also be tasked with maintaining the dairy and frozen food sections, including scheduling the rotation and cleaning of shelves and glass doors. In addition to indoor duties, the role involves outdoor maintenance such as sweeping the parking lot with designated equipment, shoveling and salting sidewalks during winter, and performing minor repairs to equipment and fixtures that are necessary for store operations.

An important part of the role includes adherence to company policies surrounding safety, fire prevention, security, and productivity standards.
