Job Description

The Girl Scouts of Connecticut is seeking a PART-TIME RECRUITMENT COORDINATOR to implement effective recruitment events within their targeted region to recruit new youth members and adult volunteers. This role involves collaborating with council staff and volunteers, utilizing proven sales techniques, and conducting engaging Girl Scout activities for girls and their caregivers/parents. The position requires local travel and primarily evening and weekend work hours to meet organizational membership goals and objectives.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma preferred or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Education, Hospitality, or related field is preferred
  • Experience with proven recruitment and/or sales results preferred
  • Experience working with youth
  • Experience with Girl Scouts preferred
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
