Job Description

The Girl Scouts of Connecticut is seeking a Part-time Recruitment Coordinator responsible for implementing effective recruitment events within their targeted region to recruit new youth members and adult volunteers. The role involves collaborating with council staff and volunteers to promote Girl Scouting and conducting engaging Girl Scout activities for girls and their caregivers. This position requires local travel, primarily evening and weekend work hours to meet membership goals, and hosting recruitment events as needed in assigned regions.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma preferred or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Education, Hospitality, or related field is preferred
  • Experience with proven recruitment and/or sales results preferred
  • Experience working with youth
  • Experience with Girl Scouts preferred
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
