Job Description
Porters Neck Village is a premier senior living community dedicated to providing an extraordinary living experience for seniors. Currently, Porters Neck Village is recruiting for a hospitality-focused Receptionist position. This role is essential as it serves as the welcoming face for everyone visiting the community. The Receptionist’s primary responsibility is to greet residents, guests, prospective employees, suppliers, vendors, and outside service providers warmly and professionally every day. Working primarily on Fridays from 8 am to 8 pm, with possibilities for additional shifts and coverage for other receptionists, this position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a people-centered, vibrant environment centered on hospitality and senior engagement.
In this role, the Receptionist will manage ongoing telephone coverage, effectively handle issues presented by residents and visitors ensuring the organizational objectives are met without escalating difficult situations, accept and document delivery packages, and notify recipients promptly. They will also prepare maintenance work orders on behalf of residents and staff and assist the Leadership Team with various projects and assignments. This role requires excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone, as the Receptionist ties together the internal and external interactions that help maintain the community’s smooth and welcoming operation.
