This particular role is within a Michaels store located in Worcester, MA, and is centered around event coordination and customer service. The position focuses on planning, coordinating, and facilitating a variety of events within the store, including children’s birthday parties and other craft classes. The position is part-time or full-time with a competitive hourly pay range of $16.00 to $18.80, reflecting the company’s commitment to rewarding team members fairly.

The Event Coordinator will be responsible for orchestrating multiple events simultaneously, catering to a diverse audience from young children to seniors. Duties include instructing participants in craft projects, performing activities like face painting, and managing event details such as party add-ons. The role requires excellent communication and organizational skills to handle client interactions, administrative duties, and adjustments based on client feedback.
