The Parking Attendant position at Legends Global is an essential role within the venue operations team. Under general supervision, the Parking Attendant performs a mixture of skilled and unskilled tasks vital to the smooth management of parking facilities attached to the venue. This role primarily involves directing vehicle and foot traffic, collecting parking fees, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining the safety and cleanliness of the parking garage environment. The Parking Attendant engages directly with guests, providing valuable information about parking options, operational hours, and surrounding areas, thereby enhancing the visitor experience. Key responsibilities also include monitoring safety hazards within the parking areas, addressing garage etiquette issues, and upholding company conduct policies.
The position requires the attendant to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the dynamic nature of venue operations. Maintenance of cleanliness in offices, booths, walkways, restrooms, and parking spaces is an integral part of the job, supported by the use of manual and mechanical cleaning equipment. Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED or experience in money transactions
- good knowledge of English grammar, spelling and punctuation
- ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
- ability to write legibly
- ability to tactfully handle irate citizens
- ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees and the general public
- must pass background and credit check

Job Duties
- Direct vehicle and foot traffic into, within, and out of parking garage
- collect parking fees, issue receipts and/or refunds in a timely manner
- complete all necessary reports/documentation involved with reconciliation of all monies collected
- communicate effectively and professionally with guests, coworkers and clients
- provide information to guests on hours of operation, daily, event, monthly and long-term parking, and general information about surrounding areas
- monitor area for safety hazards, pedestrians walking on vehicle ramps, oil/water spills, etc.
- address/report garage etiquette violations
- report employees in violation of Legends Global's conduct policies
- place and document vehicle boots
- work extended or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation: office, booths, walkways, parking lot/garage, elevators, restrooms and trash bins
- utilize and maintain hand and mechanical brushing, sweeping and moping equipment
- assist other departments in need to accomplish event expectations or company’s objectives
- perform other duties as assigned
