Job Description

Peachtree Group is a renowned hospitality company that operates a collection of quality hotels aimed at providing exceptional guest experiences. As a company deeply rooted in the hospitality industry, Peachtree Group is dedicated to maintaining high standards of service, comfort, and convenience for every guest that walks through their doors. With a reputation for excellence and a commitment to employee satisfaction, the company strives to ensure that both guests and team members thrive in a welcoming and supportive environment.

The role of the Night Auditor at Peachtree Group hotels is a pivotal position that blends financial accuracy with exemplary guest services during the overnight shift. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can efficiently handle nightly audit responsibilities including balancing accounts, managing daily paperwork, and preparing shift reports. Additionally, the Night Auditor is the face of the hotel during late hours, tasked with providing courteous and effective guest service at the front desk. This includes processing check-ins and check-outs, making reservations, responding to guest inquiries, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction.

Night Auditors are essential in maintaining the safety and security of the hotel environment by practicing proactive thinking and vigilance. The role demands handling the accuracy of the cash drawer with accountability and performing thorough checks of front desk operations to address any issues or special requests. Beyond the financial and administrative tasks, Night Auditors help maintain the lobby and restroom cleanliness to ensure a pleasant atmosphere for guests arriving or leaving at night.

This position requires strong communication skills as the Night Auditor must relay critical information across shifts and departments, coordinating closely with the Front Office Manager, General Manager, and other hotel staff to deliver seamless service. They are also responsible for educating guests about hotel services, amenities, and local recommendations on dining, shopping, entertainment, and travel directions, enhancing the guest experience through knowledgeable assistance.

Peachtree Group offers a comprehensive benefits package for its Night Auditors, recognizing the importance of supporting employee well-being and work-life balance. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance coverage, in addition to a robust 401(k) retirement plan with a company match. Paid Holidays, Paid Time Off, and an Employee Assistance Program are also available to support a healthy and fulfilling work environment.

Overall, the Night Auditor position at Peachtree Group is ideal for individuals who are detail-minded, customer-oriented, and committed to operational excellence in a hospitality setting. This role not only requires technical proficiency in audit and administrative tasks but also emphasizes creating memorable guest interactions and contributing to a safe and efficient hotel environment. Candidates interested in this role can expect to be valued team members in a reputable hospitality company that rewards dedication and professionalism.
