The available part-time, non-management Food and Beverage position at Gaylord Pacific Resort involves welcoming and seating guests with professionalism and care. The role requires greeting guests, determining party size, and assisting them to a clean, available table while ensuring they have everything needed for a comfortable dining experience, including menus, appropriate place settings, and napkins. Employees guide guests through the dining areas while accommodating groups with special needs by arranging tables and chairs appropriately.

Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining room and work areas is a key responsibility, emphasizing the resort’s dedication to high-quality standards and safety. Job Duties

  • Greet guests and determine the number in their party
  • seat guests by finding a clean, available table
  • pull out chairs
  • place clean/current menu in front of guests
  • guide guests through dining rooms and provide needed assistance
  • move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings for groups with special needs
  • ensure place settings are appropriate with napkins and clean silverware
  • check menus to ensure they are current, clean, plentiful, and wrinkle-free
  • maintain cleanliness of work areas and practice clean-as-you-go procedures
  • monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being
  • follow company safety and security policies
  • report accidents or unsafe conditions
  • complete safety training and certifications
  • maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
