Job Requirements
- Minimum 4-hour shifts or more depending on business needs
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand 55 percent of the time and walk 45 percent
- Must adhere to company policy regarding apparel and footwear
- Must complete ELM training courses
- Must report all accidents within 24 hours
- Must follow proper food safety and sanitation protocols
- Must wear Personal Protective Equipment where required
- Must complete Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, and Right to Know training
Job Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations
- Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to use or learn to use equipment and tools required to perform the job
Job Duties
- Provide quality customer service to customers, co-workers, vendors, and business associates
- Receive, process, prepare, wrap, slice, weigh, mark, and package deli products
- Maintain proper shelf, case, and display conditions including stocking, cleaning, straightening, and rotating products
- Maintain proper cooler conditions including coding, rotating, organizing, and cleaning cases of product
- Maintain proper prep area conditions including cleaning and sanitizing work surfaces, utensils, and equipment
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations related to deli operations
- Maintain safe and clean sales floor conditions including sweeping and mopping
