Operating across Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and New Jersey, The GIANT Company prides itself on building strong families and healthy communities by offering quality products, exceptional customer service, and a welcoming shopping environment. The company’s foundational values of care, courage, integrity, teamwork, and humor guide its operations, ensuring it remains an inclusive place to work and shop regardless of differences or backgrounds. With a commitment to fostering diversity and nurturing unique talents, GIANT connects families and neighbors through meaningful service and shared goals.

As a team member at The GIANT Company, you will be integral to delivering this vision by contributing to a positive in-store atmosphere and providing exemplary customer interactions. Employees in this position will also be responsible for adhering to strict merchandising, stock rotation, and storage procedures to maintain product quality and store profitability. The company emphasizes the importance of maintaining a clean and professional appearance during shifts while supporting proper cash handling and inventory management to uphold store efficiency.

A distinctive aspect of this role involves learning and mastering barista skills aligned with both The GIANT Company’s and Starbucks’ standards. Candidates will undergo self-directed learning beyond initial training programs to demonstrate product knowledge, safety, and conduct excellence. This position is designed for enthusiastic individuals who bring a customer-focused mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to operational excellence. It offers an opportunity to develop meaningful workplace relationships, advance personal skills, and make a tangible difference in the communities served by The GIANT Company.
