The role of a Customer Service Cashier within CFCC is integral to the smooth operation of college registration activities, providing clerical and financial support while maintaining high standards of customer service. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Perform general cashiering duties for the college
  • receive student tuition and fees
  • issue parking decals
  • issue receipts
  • issue refunds as required
  • maintain necessary records and files of transactions
  • record all monies received on computer terminal
  • maintain cash drawer on a daily basis and balance the cash drawer at the end of each day by tender
  • Provide assistance to students and the general public withinquiries and complaints
  • answer student complaints regarding registration fees, delinquencies and refunds
  • identify customer service problems and conduct research
  • communicate results to students as appropriate
  • Answer incoming telephone calls providing general information on college registration policies and procedures as required
  • and if needed refer calls to appropriate department personnel
  • Maintain petty cash fund
  • balance petty cash on regular basis
  • Maintain parking ticket information
  • Assist with ID production
  • Other duties as assigned
