The Deli Bakery Department at Food Lion is seeking a dedicated team member to join their retail operations. This role focuses on providing superior customer service in maintaining the department’s product quality and presentation. The primary responsibility is to adhere to the company’s standard practice manuals to maximize sales and minimize product shrinkage through appropriate handling and preparation techniques. Responsibilities include following technical manuals for product processing, ensuring proper sanitation of equipment and food handling, managing orders and displays according to company policies, and complying with Food Safety and Workplace Safety standards. The team member will also be expected to wear the Food Lion uniform with pride, maintain neat personal appearance, and utilize company systems such as the average cost inventory system (ACIS) and computerized ordering (CAO).
