The Part-Time Café Shift Lead role available at Chobani’s Frogtown location in Los Angeles, CA, offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about leadership and customer service within a bustling café environment. This position demands an individual who can multitask effectively in fast-paced settings, anticipate customer needs, and enforce compliance with Department of Health regulations and occupational health and safety standards. The shift lead acts as the primary point of contact during their shift, exercising authority to manage staff hours, monitor break schedules, oversee inventory ordering and stocking, and handle cash management duties including banking and cash outs. Attention to detail and good judgment are essential as this role frequently requires escalating issues to the Store Manager when necessary while continuously upholding Chobani’s brand image and customer experience.
Employment is part-time and compensation for this role is competitive, with hourly wages starting at $26.00 per hour. Job Duties
- Effectively lead a shift and provide direction to staff to ensure operations run smoothly
- monitor breaks ensuring that they are running according to schedule and legal requirements
- monitor food quality and operations in back of house
- take the lead in ordering, stocking and replenishing items needed for service
- attend to customers and exhibit excellent customer service skills
- ensure DOH compliance and occupational health and safety compliance is met at all times
- exercise authority to manage hours of café staff based on the business
- escalate issues to Store Manager when necessary
- assist with banking and cashing out for each shift
- perform other duties as necessary
