Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three years of serving or bartending experience
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Proven beer knowledge or ability to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, loud, and physically demanding environment
- Availability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three years serving or bartending experience preferred
- TIPS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Strong knowledge of beer styles and Surly beers
- Outgoing personality with excellent customer service skills
- Experience handling cash transactions
- Ability to multitask and maintain composure under pressure
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Provide excellent customer service
- Welcome guests promptly and introduce yourself
- Describe and pair Surly beers confidently
- Buss tables and run food as needed
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment
- Communicate effectively with team members using radio systems
- Follow all TIPS and safety protocols
- Report and address systematic problems to management
