Job Description

Sage Hospitality Group is a dynamic and innovative hospitality company that strives to redefine the hotel experience by moving beyond conventional standards and encouraging creativity and individuality. Known for its commitment to authentic and independent hospitality, Sage Hospitality Group emphasizes a culture where associates are empowered to contribute uniquely and creatively to shape what the hotel experience could be rather than merely what it should be. Within this group, the Cambria New Orleans Hotel stands out as a prime example, welcoming guests with a fresh, inspired hospitality approach rooted in local culture and a personalized guest experience.

As part of the Sage Hospitality Group family, the Cambria New Orleans Hotel is dedicated to excellence and originality, cultivating an environment where associates are recognized as the best in the business due to their intelligence, independence, creativity, and authentic service style. This dedication to uniqueness and high standards ensures that every guest interaction is meaningful and memorable, fostering an environment of genuine hospitality that transcends typical expectations.

The Bartender role at Cambria New Orleans Hotel is crucial to delivering this elevated guest experience. This position involves the set-up, mixing, serving, and clean-up with a clear focus on quality service, guest satisfaction, and adherence to company standards. The Bartender plays a key role in enhancing the atmosphere of the hotel’s bar area by providing impeccable service that ensures every guest leaves with a positive impression. The individual in this role must be passionate about hospitality, possess a deep knowledge of beverage preparation, and demonstrate a commitment to maintaining safety and company policies.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced position requiring technical skills, creativity, and people skills. The Bartender will be responsible for making drinks following established guidelines, ensuring compliance with liquor laws, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and order in the bar area. Moreover, the Bartender is entrusted with handling cash and credit transactions accurately, ensuring all guest checks are processed according to strict procedures to guarantee guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Attention to physical demands is essential in this role due to the nature of prolonged standing, lifting up to 40 pounds, and maneuvering in busy and sometimes confined areas. Therefore, this role is best suited for candidates who are physically fit and comfortable balancing multiple tasks in a lively environment.

Overall, this position offers an opportunity to join a company that values creativity and individuality, providing a platform to thrive as a hospitality professional in one of the most vibrant and culturally rich cities in the United States. Working at Sage Hospitality Group’s Cambria New Orleans Hotel places you within a team that is not afraid to break the mold and brings passion and dedication to all aspects of hotel service.
