Job Description

Chobani is a well-established food maker renowned for its commitment to producing high-quality, nutritious food that is accessible to a broad community. Founded in 2005 by Hamdi Ulukaya, an immigrant to the U.S., Chobani has grown into a purpose-driven, people-first company that prioritizes wellness and quality in every product. The brand is best known for its popular line of yogurt, which is America’s number one yogurt brand, made without artificial preservatives and using all-natural ingredients. Beyond yogurt, Chobani has expanded its portfolio to include oat milk, creamers, and through strategic acquisitions like La Colombe and Daily Harvest, also offers premium coffee beverages and convenient ready-to-make meals. This expansion highlights Chobani’s commitment to diversity in its product offerings and dedication to providing wholesome, nutritious options for consumers nationwide and internationally.

La Colombe, acquired by Chobani in 2023, is a leading coffee roaster with a shared commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and community impact. Its cafes and products offer a blend of premium coffee experiences and innovative beverage options, including cold-pressed espresso and ready-to-drink coffee beverages. Together, these brands exemplify Chobani’s mission of using food as a force for good—prioritizing humanity, community engagement, and sustainability in all its practices.

The barista role at La Colombe is an exciting opportunity to be the heartbeat of the cafe, acting as a vital community builder and brand ambassador. As a barista, you will engage customers warmly, serve expertly crafted coffee drinks, and create an inviting atmosphere full of positive energy. This position emphasizes hospitality, consistency, and personal responsibility, with a clear focus on exceptional customer connection and team support. Training is provided to ensure that every barista masters the art of coffee making the La Colombe way, guaranteeing the highest standards of quality and style in every beverage. Your day-to-day includes managing your station, maintaining cleanliness, and collaborating seamlessly with your fellow team members to enhance the customer experience.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments and enjoys multitasking while remaining friendly and approachable. The job requires a strong sense of initiative and pride in your work, coupled with a genuine passion for hospitality and making customers feel special. Working as a La Colombe barista offers not only a chance to develop your skills in coffee and customer service but also real opportunities for career growth within Chobani’s diverse business segments—whether aiming for leadership roles in cafe management, training, operations, or sales.

Beyond the fulfilling work, this position pays $21.00 per hour and offers a welcoming, team-first culture that values each individual. Employees benefit from ongoing professional development, free coffee, and a supportive environment that encourages positive vibes during every shift. This job is more than just serving coffee; it is about building community, representing a beloved brand, and growing both personally and professionally within a reputable, mission-driven company.
