The role being offered is a hands-on catering service position designed to maintain the highest degree of professional service to guests throughout various events. This position requires the candidate to consistently present themselves in proper uniform and with a professional demeanor, working closely under the guidance of the Food & Beverage Manager or Banquet Captain to execute event service seamlessly. The individual in this role will assist with the preparation and setup of banquet events, including managing banquet equipment such as flatware, china, glassware, and serving pieces, as well as preparing garnishes, beverages, condiments, and breads. In addition to setup, this position demands active participation during events, providing courteous and friendly guest service, attending pre-function meetings to understand event details, and addressing any customer concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction. Post-event duties include breaking down tables and banquet equipment, cleaning and returning serving items to their designated storage areas. Employees in this role must adhere strictly to grooming standards and company policies, uphold service guidelines, and possess a keen eye for detail to ensure quality and efficiency in a fast-paced, guest-oriented atmosphere. The role requires not only exceptional teamwork and the ability to multitask effectively but also a positive service attitude and a strong work ethic. Physical demands for this position include repetitive hand-eye coordination tasks, lifting up to 25 pounds above shoulder height, standing and walking for extended periods, stooping, reaching, and handling objects.
