Job Description

The hiring company is a leading cargo and logistics service provider, specializing in the safe and efficient handling of air freight. The company is committed to delivering excellent service by ensuring timely and accurate cargo operations, supporting airlines and freight customers with state-of-the-art equipment and trained personnel. With a focus on safety, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction, the company operates in a fast-paced environment where precision and teamwork are critical to success. This organization values integrity, attention to detail, and reliability, creating a work setting where employees can thrive and grow professionally in the logistics and air cargo industry.

The position available is for a Cargo Ramp Agent, a vital operational role responsible for marshaling aircraft, pushing back airplanes, and handling the loading and unloading of cargo. This role requires the operation of various ground service equipment, including K-loaders, tugs, belt loaders, and forklifts, ensuring the safe and timely movement of freight between the warehouse and aircraft. The Cargo Ramp Agent will be instrumental in preparing cargo by palletizing and organizing shipments, verifying the accuracy of paperwork, and maintaining the proper handling and delivery of goods. This role also involves routine cleaning and servicing duties to ensure that the aircraft interiors and ramp areas meet the highest standards of safety and cleanliness.

This position demands a high level of physical fitness and the ability to work in a dynamic, high-pressure environment, including adverse weather conditions. Communication skills are essential as the agent must effectively operate two-way radios and coordinate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth and safe cargo operations. This is generally a full-time position with the expectation of flexible working hours to accommodate flight schedules and operational demands. Candidates with a valid driver’s license and proficient English reading and writing skills will find themselves well-prepared to succeed in this role.

Joining this team provides an excellent opportunity to become part of a crucial segment of the air cargo industry, offering comprehensive safety training and career development. The company encourages a culture of safety, responsibility, and teamwork, fostering a workplace where employees are valued and contributions are recognized.
