Job Requirements
- Possession of a valid license to practice as a Psychiatric Technician issued by the BVNPTE
- Applicants within four months of completing the Psychiatric Technician curriculum accredited by the BVNPTE will be admitted to the examination but must secure the license before appointment
- Willingness to work full-time in person at the Susanville, CA location

Job Duties
- Organize and deliver basic general, behavioral, and psychiatric nursing care to patients following policies, procedures, and regulations
- Administer care under the clinical direction and delegation of the Registered Nurse (RN)
- Support daily health care operations including assisting the efficient functioning of the care team
- Work closely with the health care team to address ongoing patient needs and foster a collaborative and supportive environment
- Promote the efficient, appropriate, and cost-effective use of health care resources in all aspects of patient care
- Adhere to all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures in the delivery of care within a correctional health care setting
