Founded with the vision to transform fast food, Sweetgreen operates numerous modern fast-casual restaurants that emphasize fresh, sustainable ingredients, innovative recipes, and environmentally conscious practices. Their mission goes beyond serving food; they aim to connect people to real food and foster a culture of health and wellness.

Joining Sweetgreen means becoming part of a movement to rewrite the future of fast food by promoting better eating habits and caring for the planet. This position is ideal for those who are passionate about food quality, customer service, and sustainability and are eager to grow and develop their career within a supportive and vibrant community.

The role involves a diverse range of responsibilities from food preparation and line operations to customer interaction and maintaining sanitation standards. As a Team Member, you will handle tasks such as chopping and preparing fresh ingredients, assembling salads quickly and accurately according to recipe and presentation standards, and ensuring each customer enjoys a seamless and friendly service experience. You will also be responsible for adhering to food safety protocols, operating kitchen tools safely, restocking ingredients, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Team communication and multitasking skills are essential to succeed, particularly during busy periods.

The company prioritizes equal opportunity and inclusivity, welcoming candidates from all backgrounds and providing reasonable accommodations as required by law.

Sweetgreen Team Members must be at least 18 years old, authorized to work in the U.S., and able to handle physical demands such as lifting, standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Availability to work a minimum of 12 hours per week is required. This is an excellent entry-level position for individuals looking to start a career in hospitality or food service while making a positive impact on health and sustainability.
