Job Description

GD Resources LLC is a dedicated federal government contractor providing specialized professional support services to various U.S. Government agencies, including the Department of Defense and other federal organizations. With an emphasis on delivering high-quality administrative and operational assistance, GD Resources LLC is committed to supporting missions that enhance the effectiveness of federal operations. The company prides itself on its collaborative work environment, vast experience in government contracting, and its focus on facilitating services that support service members, military families, and authorized personnel. As a reliable partner to government entities, GD Resources LLC ensures that federal programs operate efficiently, aligning with regulatory requirements and organizational goals.

The Protestant Administrative Religious Education Coordinator position at GD Resources LLC offers an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to the mission of the United States Army Garrison Hawaii (USAG Hawaii) Religious Support Office (RSO). This full-time contract role is dedicated to providing comprehensive administrative and program coordination support for Protestant religious education programs designed to serve soldiers, military families, and other authorized civilians. Under the guidance of USAG Hawaii RSO policies, Army Regulation 165-1, and installation procedures, this role plays a critical part in the planning, coordination, documentation, and execution of religious education activities throughout the installation.

The coordinator will work closely with the Garrison Chaplain, Director of Religious Education, and RSO personnel to support a wide array of religious education events, both recurring and seasonal. This position demands exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and strong communication capabilities to handle multiple administrative tasks efficiently. Duties include maintaining and tracking documentation, managing event calendars, preparing announcements and flyers, assisting with the setup and management of program materials, and ensuring the smooth operation of facilities used for religious education activities. The coordinator helps maintain effective communication between Chaplain Corps personnel, Religious Education leadership, and designated RSO staff to ensure all programs comply with Army regulations and RSO policies.

This non-personal services contract position operates independently without being considered a government employee or a member of the Commander’s or Chaplain’s staff. The role supports religious programs at various locations, including Aliamanu Military Reservation Chapel, Fort DeRussy Chapel, Helemano Military Reservation Chapel, Main Post Chapel, and Main Post Chapel Annex in Hawaii. The position requires the ability to work flexible hours outside the traditional 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on program calendars and installation needs. Successful candidates will also undergo and pass government background checks including a Tier 1 Background Investigation and State Criminal History Repository check.

Joining GD Resources LLC means becoming part of a team that values professionalism, inclusion, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting key federal missions. The company is an Equal Opportunity Employer, welcoming qualified applicants from diverse backgrounds without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or protected veteran status. Through this role, individuals get to contribute to programs improving the well-being and spiritual support of military personnel and their families, all while gaining valuable experience working within military and federal government settings.
