You will also be responsible for updating customer signage related to daily menus and sampling hours, supporting food production for retail sales, and ensuring the merchandising displays reflect current promotions and seasonal themes. This multifaceted role requires adherence to federal and state food safety regulations, completion of mandatory food safety training, and operating under established sanitation guidelines.

Job Requirements
- 21 years or older
- 2 plus years of experience related to food and cooking or experience in sales, product demonstrations, or cooking in a professional environment
- Completion of or ability to complete H-E-B Wine selling certification or similar experience
- Completion of or ability to complete TABC Certification
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for hospitality
- Skills in basic cooking techniques including grill, sauté, roast, fry
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between projects
Job Qualifications
- 21 years or older
- 2 plus years of experience related to food and cooking or experience in sales, product demonstrations, or cooking in a professional environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of displayed products to guide customers in multiple uses
- Knowledge of or aptitude to learn H-E-B systems and processes such as scheduling, recipe authoring, product ordering, display planning, MS Office, internal websites, and H-E-B mobile apps
- Advanced communication skills
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for hospitality
- Merchandising skills
- Skills in basic cooking techniques including grill, sauté, roast, fry
- Ability to read and interpret documents including safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between projects
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours
- Completion of or ability to complete H-E-B Wine selling certification or similar experience

- Ensures A+ standards at the Connections kitchen including maintaining and cleaning fixtures, stocking conditions, plan-o-gram integrity, daily recovery, and perpetual inventory
- Assists in building and maintaining merchandising displays

- Ensures customer signage for the daily menu and sampling hours is updated and on display
- Ensures backstock is worked
