The role of Launch Property Sales Manager at BWH Hotels offers an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of the company’s corporate team, focusing on the critical start-up phase of newly joining hotel properties. This full-time position is based in Phoenix, Arizona, and follows a hybrid work model that blends onsite collaboration at the Global Operations Center with flexible remote work days. The Launch Property Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful sales ramp-up and strategic activation of new properties within the BWH portfolio. This role requires a high level of initiative and expertise, as the manager will directly lead sales efforts, provide strategic consulting, and coordinate pre- and post-activation activities tailored to each property’s needs.
Key responsibilities include managing the remote sales activation and ramp-up processes, customizing sales activation plans based on thorough competitive analysis and SWOT assessments, and leveraging advanced revenue management tools to optimize new properties' revenue potential from day one. The role also demands close collaboration with Brand Marketing, Marketing, and Revenue Management teams to align efforts and maximize each launch’s impact. Additionally, the manager will employ AI tools and relevant industry data to continually monitor and enhance sales strategies. Building strong relationships with property leadership and internal stakeholders is essential to ensure long-term success beyond the initial onboarding phase.
This position suits candidates with at least five years of hotel sales experience, especially those with multi-property or regional sales backgrounds. Experience in property openings, brand onboarding, or conversions is highly advantageous. A bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business, sales, marketing, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent experience is considered. Strong communication, presentation, and sales strategy development skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, are essential. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, well organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment while maintaining a proactive approach to driving revenue and managing emerging sales environments.
Candidates must be residents of Arizona due to the hybrid work requirement and must be willing to commit to onsite work three days per week at the Global Operations Center. Occasional travel, up to 15%, will be necessary for property visits and company sales meetings. Job Requirements
- Must reside in Arizona
- Available to work hybrid schedule with onsite presence Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays and remote Tuesdays and Thursdays
- Willingness to travel up to 15 percent for property visits and company sales meetings
- Proven hotel sales experience including multi-property or regional sales exposure
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in hospitality management business sales marketing or related field
- This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship

Job Duties
- Oversee and execute the remote sales activation and ramp-up process for newly activating properties
- Conduct pre-activation and post-activation consulting ensuring each property is fully prepared for brand integration
- Lead direct sales efforts during the ramp-up period including prospecting qualifying and securing new business opportunities across all applicable market segments
- Partner with Brand Marketing Marketing and Revenue Management to ensure cross-functional alignment and maximize property launch performance
- Create and implement property-specific sales activation plans including competitive set analysis and SWOT assessments
- Utilize revenue management tools and insights to ensure the property is positioned to optimize revenue opportunities at launch
- Provide ongoing updates reporting and performance summaries in a timely and accurate manner
- Leverage AI tools industry data and insights to monitor performance identify trends and optimize sales revenue strategies
- Cultivate strong relationships with property leadership supporting teams and internal stakeholders to ensure long-term success for each new activation
