ELS is currently looking to hire a Property Manager for their community in El Cajon, California. This full-time role offers an estimated annual salary range of $85,000 to $90,000, with compensation dependent on experience, education, and other factors. In addition to the base salary, eligible positions may qualify for bonuses, sales commissions, or incentive pay. As a Property Manager at ELS, you will play a vital role overseeing all resources and assets of the property, ensuring the community runs smoothly and maintains high standards for residents and guests alike. The role encompasses leadership responsibilities including managing staff, maintaining the physical property, and driving occupancy rates through strategic marketing and community engagement efforts. You will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and training quality employees to deliver excellent customer service. Your day-to-day activities will involve engagement with guests and residents through events and activities, as well as partnership with the marketing team to attract new residents.
Financial acumen is critical in this role, as you will prepare and manage the operational budget of the property, analyze financial performance, and implement cost controls while identifying new revenue opportunities. Operational oversight includes ensuring cleanliness, safety, and the overall attractiveness of the property, which directly impacts resident satisfaction and occupancy levels. The ideal candidate will have considerable experience in resort or property management, preferably within large manufactured housing, RV, or multi-site environments, complemented by strong leadership and sales or marketing capabilities. A solid understanding of complex operational responsibilities along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other web-based financial systems is expected.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of resort or property management experience
- experience working in rental unit complex
- experience leading a team
- sales and/or marketing experience preferred
- ability to produce financials and budgets
