The Full-Time Porter will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and general upkeep of the company’s properties. This position involves daily property inspections, addressing litter and debris, managing pool maintenance, exterior lighting, and the upkeep of equipment like golf carts. The role extends to assisting with unit turnovers, minor repairs, landscaping efforts, and operating equipment such as power washers. Safety is paramount, as employees must adhere to company and regulatory safety protocols, use personal protective equipment when necessary, and be vigilant about hazards including chemicals, sharp tools, and uneven surfaces. Physically, the job requires frequent walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds, often in varying weather conditions. Candidates who have prior experience in property maintenance, landscaping, or custodial work are preferred. The ideal candidate will have reliable transportation, a clean driving record, strong communication skills, and a self-motivated but team-oriented work ethic.
