Job Requirements

  • ACF certified Executive Chef or culinary degree from a recognized institute
  • eight to ten years of experience as an Executive Chef at reputable hotels or resorts
  • extensive menu development and costing experience
  • over five years of multi-outlet food production management experience
  • outstanding communication skills
  • hands-on knowledge of food production
  • ability to mentor and retain employees

Job Qualifications

  • extensive menu development and costing experience
  • over five years of multi-outlet food production management experience
  • outstanding communication and delegation skills

  • experience in training and mentorship
  • strong leadership to maintain employee retention

Job Duties

  • Create menus reflecting seasonal availability and the concept of the restaurant
  • develop food and beverage merchandising programs for grab and go or other food retail elements
  • analyze menus and procedures to improve profit and quality
  • stay updated on industry trends and modify menus based on guest needs and hotel guest mix
  • develop daily, seasonal, and special event menus to enhance guest experiences
  • forecast purchases and maintain food cost within budget
  • lead safety, efficiency, and sanitary food production
  • develop purchase specifications and ensure order guides and food inspection standards are met
  • monitor all activities of stewarding department and personnel
  • design training and development plans to enhance team skills
  • work with culinary team to provide demonstrations and quality control
  • create a unique amenity program reflecting the hotel and environment
  • foster a culture of teamwork and guest service empowerment
  • maintain clear communication with hotel management and human resources
  • partner with the Corporate Chef to drive centralized and consistent culinary programs
