Job Description

InTown Suites is a prominent extended stay hotel company dedicated to providing guests with affordable, comfortable, and convenient lodging options. With a focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere, InTown Suites emphasizes customer satisfaction, safety, and operational excellence. The company prides itself on fostering a positive work environment where employees are passionate about their roles and committed to delivering exceptional service. The property located at 1929 Mel Browning Street in Bowling Green, Kentucky, exemplifies the brand's dedication to quality and guest-centered hospitality. As part of the InTown Suites family, team members are encouraged to believe in the value of their work and to contribute meaningfully to the guest experience. This commitment to excellence and attentiveness has positioned InTown Suites as a leading choice for extended stay accommodations across many regions.

The role of Property Attendant at InTown Suites is a vital position responsible for maintaining a safe, comfortable, and peaceful environment for guests during non-office hours. This full-time role requires the Property Attendant to reside on the property, ensuring they can respond promptly to issues and guests’ needs overnight. Unlike security personnel, Property Attendants are not permitted to carry weapons and must operate by alertly monitoring the premises and reporting safety or suspicious activities without direct intervention. They are responsible for securing storage and employee areas, managing guest access by verifying identities, addressing minor maintenance concerns, and performing multiple property inspections nightly. An important component of the role is serving as the emergency contact for the property after business hours and maintaining professional and courteous communication with guests. The Property Attendant also documents all rounds and any incidents to support ongoing property management and maintain high standards of safety and upkeep. Given the on-call nature of this role, candidates should be prepared to work a flexible schedule that typically includes five to six days per week, covering evening and overnight hours. The position demands physical activity such as walking, climbing ladders, and lifting heavy items, all to contribute to a well-maintained and secure environment. This comprehensive role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in attentive supervisory roles, enjoy direct interaction with guests, and prioritize safety and property care in a dynamic hospitality setting.

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret information found in internal hotel documentation
  • Ability to read, speak, and write efficiently to interact with guests and staff
  • Ability to self-supervise and work with limited supervision
