Job Description

InTown Suites is a leading hospitality company known for providing quality extended stay accommodations in convenient locations to a diverse clientele. With a longstanding commitment to comfort, safety, and customer satisfaction, InTown Suites operates a range of properties designed to meet the needs of travelers seeking reliable, affordable, and friendly lodging options. The company prides itself on fostering a work environment where employees genuinely believe in the mission and values of the organization, contributing to a positive guest experience and an engaged workforce.

The Property Attendant role at InTown Suites is integral to maintaining a pleasant, secure, and quiet atmosphere for our guests outside of standard office hours. This position requires someone who is vigilant, customer-focused, and easily approachable, as they serve as the primary contact for guests during the evening and overnight shifts. As a key member of the team, the Property Attendant is responsible for monitoring safety and security on the property, although this role is explicitly not a security guard position. Employees in this role are prohibited from carrying firearms or any dangerous weapons, ensuring guest and staff safety is managed through observation and communication with proper authorities rather than direct intervention.

Living on-site is a unique and important aspect of the role, providing constant availability and presence to promptly address guest concerns and incidents while upholding company policies such as those outlined in the Terms of Guest Agreement. The Property Attendant performs multiple thorough property inspections each night based on an established schedule designed to safeguard guest welfare and the physical condition of the property.

This position demands strong communication skills, as the Property Attendant interacts directly with guests, handles complaints professionally, and maintains effective relationships with both guests and management. Responsibilities also include securing employee and storage areas, verifying guest identities for room access, assisting with minor maintenance issues, documenting incidents, and coordinating responses to safety or security matters with supervisory personnel or emergency services when necessary.

Candidates must be capable of self-supervision and possess a keen attention to detail to identify potential issues and report them appropriately. Physical requirements include the ability to navigate different terrains and environments around the property, perform rigorous rounds involving walking, standing, climbing, and lifting, and inspect vacant rooms to ensure safety standards are met. The company provides comprehensive training and a supportive team, making the position accessible while encouraging professional growth within the hospitality industry.

Employment includes living accommodations provided free of charge, and competitive benefits such as weekly payroll, a 401k plan with company matching, and inclusive housekeeping services. This role offers a dynamic schedule with on-call duties spanning up to six days per week, accommodating a variety of property operational hours. The Property Attendant position at InTown Suites represents an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow their career in hospitality in a role that combines responsibility, customer interaction, and property management in a supportive environment.
