Job Description

InTown Suites is a well-established hospitality company that specializes in providing extended stay accommodations for travelers who seek a balance of comfort, convenience, and affordability. The company is recognized for its commitment to delivering quality service and a welcoming atmosphere for guests, ensuring that their stay is both enjoyable and secure. InTown Suites operates multiple properties nationwide, offering guest rooms equipped with essential amenities, making it an ideal choice for individuals, families, and business travelers needing a temporary home away from home. The company culture emphasizes passion and customer focus, fostering an environment where employees truly believe in the value of their work and are dedicated to upholding high standards of hospitality and service.

The role of the Property Attendant at InTown Suites is integral to maintaining a safe, comfortable, and quiet environment for all guests. This position is part-time or full-time based on the property’s specific needs and involves being on-call between five and six days a week as determined by the Regional Operations Manager and immediate supervisor or manager. The primary responsibility of the Property Attendant is to monitor the property when the office is closed, ensuring that both the guests and the premises are secure and that any issues are promptly reported or addressed without direct confrontation. While not a security guard, the Property Attendant serves as the property’s emergency contact after office hours and assists guests with various needs including minor maintenance and lockouts.

A critical requirement of the role is that the Property Attendant resides on the property during their employment term, supporting quick response times and continuous vigilance. The job entails performing multiple inspections each night, typically three thorough rounds at designated times, although schedules may vary depending on the property. Sundays require a more comprehensive inspection routine, with five rounds for properties closed on that day and a minimum of three after-hours rounds for those that remain operational. The Property Attendant also plays an important role in enforcing access controls by verifying guest identities and ensuring that only authorized individuals are present on the property.

This role demands strong communication skills to interact effectively and professionally with guests who may have concerns or complaints, as well as the ability to operate independently with minimal supervision. Physical requirements include the ability to climb ladders, walk briskly for extended periods, inspect rooms visually, lift heavy objects, and work in various environmental conditions such as heat, cold, or wet environments. The Property Attendant also ensures that storage and employee areas are securely locked each night and that the property remains clean and free of trash.

InTown Suites supports its Property Attendants with easy-to-follow training programs and a supportive team environment throughout onboarding and employment. Additional benefits include a 401k plan with company match, complimentary room accommodations complete with housekeeping services, and weekly payroll, all designed to provide a rewarding workplace experience. The company prioritizes both guest satisfaction and employee safety, making this an appealing position for individuals passionate about hospitality and dedicated to maintaining high standards of property management.
