Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid U.S. driver’s license Class B issued by the state of legal residence with proper endorsements if required
- No more than two convictions in the past two-year period for traffic violations
- No DUI convictions in the past three years
- No driver’s license suspensions in the past three years
- Must be able to pass DOT physical
- Must pass pre-employment testing including background check
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift
- Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops
- Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse
- No commercial or professional driving experience required
- One year of multi-stop delivery experience is preferred or six months local delivery experience and/or foodservice industry experience
Job Qualifications
- Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid U.S. driver’s license Class B issued by the state of legal residence with proper endorsements if required
- Ability to operate manual transmission preferred
- Must be able to read and communicate in the English language
- Must have basic math skills
- Knowledge of area and/or map reading abilities
- Great interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to work on weekends, holidays, and overtime to service customers
Job Duties
- Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled customer delivery times
- Carefully unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated customer storage areas
- Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures
- Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable
- Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience
- Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspection
