The company prides itself on maintaining a strong safety culture and offering excellent local leadership, creating a positive and supportive work environment for its team members.

The role of a Pronto (Non-CDL) Delivery Driver at US FOODS offers an exciting career opportunity to be part of a company that is dedicated to helping its employees succeed. This position involves delivering food products safely and efficiently to customers, primarily within local routes. Drivers are responsible for ensuring deliveries are made on time while providing outstanding customer service to enhance client relationships. The job schedule is generally Monday through Friday, starting at 6:30 am and continuing until completion, although it is subject to change based on business needs. The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $24.13, with compensation varying by experience, skills, and location between $21.50 and $25.50 per hour.

As a Pronto Delivery Driver, you will play a key role in maintaining the supply chain and supporting the foodservice industry's operational success. Responsibilities include safely driving trucks to deliver goods, carefully unloading products using equipment such as two-wheelers or pallet jacks, and verifying delivery accuracy with clients. You will also be expected to handle customer payments when applicable and perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the reliability of your vehicle. This role demands physical stamina, as it requires repeated lifting and carrying of heavy products, and the ability to operate under varying weather conditions with frequent stops.

US FOODS prioritizes employee benefits starting from day one, including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401K plans, life insurance, and a strong emphasis on safety. The company encourages a work culture where great drivers are admired and rewarded for their dedication, reliability, and interpersonal skills. For those seeking a stable and rewarding career in the foodservice distribution industry, this role provides solid growth potential and the chance to be part of a leading organization with a mission of GREAT FOOD. MADE EASY™. The company also requires all drivers to register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse to comply with federal transportation regulations, ensuring safety and accountability across its fleet members.

With excellent local leadership, extensive training opportunities, and a supportive team environment, US FOODS is committed to helping its employees 'make it' both professionally and personally. If you have a passion for customer service, a commitment to safety, and the ability to manage responsibilities associated with local delivery driving, this position is an ideal fit.
