The Non CDL Driver position at US FOODS is an integral role within the delivery team responsible for distributing foodservice products to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner. This role specifically involves operating a company vehicle not exceeding a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of 25,900 pounds, making deliveries to multiple stops throughout the day. A typical schedule is Monday through Friday, starting early in the morning, with some variations based on business demands. Drivers are expected to meet scheduled delivery times while maintaining a high level of service that reflects US FOODS’ commitment to customer satisfaction.

This role requires the ability to safely drive trucks, handle various delivery tools such as pallet jacks and two-wheelers, and perform accurate inspections of the vehicle before and after trips. Drivers are responsible for verifying order accuracy with customers and obtaining proper signatures, handling customer payments when necessary, and performing physical tasks such as lifting and carrying heavy products weighing between 20 to over 80 pounds repetitively throughout the shift. The ideal candidate will bring strong interpersonal and customer service skills, experience with multi-stop delivery, and the ability to work in various weather conditions. Furthermore, candidates must pass Department of Transportation (DOT) medical requirements and adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
