The current opportunity is within the Promotions Team at Quechan Casino Resort/Paradise Casino, where flexibility, creativity, and energy are valued. As a Promotions Assistant under the direct supervision of the Promotions Manager, the candidate will play a vital role in supporting marketing projects and implementing promotional campaigns designed to captivate guests and enhance their experience at the property. The position is particularly suited for candidates who enjoy working in a collaborative team setting and have a passion for event planning and execution.

The role requires versatility and adaptability, with an expectation to work varied hours, including weekends, aligning with the entertainment schedule and event calendar. This position includes responsibilities such as coordinating artist and show logistics, managing promotional materials, supporting box office operations, and handling administrative duties related to marketing events. It is a chance to be involved in every facet of event planning—from conceptualizing promotions and managing vendor relationships to ensuring the smooth running of live events and post-event evaluations.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • At least two years experience in event planning entertainment or promotions execution
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen
  • Must pass background investigation to obtain and maintain gaming license in California and Arizona
  • Native American preference
  • Experience with Native American culture and government preferred
  • Tribal preference given to qualified Tribal members

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associate's degree in marketing or related field preferred
  • At least two years of experience in event planning entertainment or promotions execution
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
  • Bilingual English Spanish preferred
  • Must be at least 21 years of age

Job Duties

  • Plan develop and implement all property promotions and events in collaboration with the team
  • Assist with the logistical details of artist and show production including food transportation and other needs as required
  • Coordinate promotional event details such as ordering products displaying items and managing the setup and teardown of giveaways
  • Work with cross-property teams to ensure promotions and events are executed consistently across locations
  • Support box office operations including ticketing procedures accounting and issue resolution
  • Create and distribute internal and external communications related to entertainment promotions events and employee updates
  • Manage administrative tasks such as creating purchase orders maintaining files and ensuring accurate billing through proper GL coding
