Cumulus Media Minneapolis is currently seeking a committed and energetic fulltime Promotions Coordinator to join its vibrant team. This role is a fantastic opportunity for individuals eager to break into the radio industry, especially those with a passion for radio and an outgoing personality. The Promotions Coordinator will be actively engaged in community interaction, representing Cumulus Media’s stations by promoting them through various events and direct listener engagement. The role entails significant physical activity, including setting up and breaking down promotional materials such as pop-up tents and tables, hanging banners, and standing for extended periods. It also involves regular lifting of up to 50 pounds and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues on site.

Beyond community engagement, this role includes numerous office-based responsibilities such as prize fulfillment, event preparation, contest organization, prize sheet creation, and continuous brainstorming of new promotional ideas. The Coordinator may also be called upon to perform reception duties as needed. Candidates are expected to be charismatic, energetic, detail-oriented, and responsible, with a strong ability to multitask while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor. This position requires proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and WordPress, and favors those with social media skills across platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Twitch, and LinkedIn. Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and vCreative adds value. The salary range for this fulltime position is between USD 35,000 and USD 38,000 per year, offering a competitive compensation package.
