This position supports the planning, coordination, and execution of a broad range of events including concerts, community activations, and live broadcasts that align with local station brands and client goals. The Specialist works cross-functionally with sales, programming, and marketing teams to help develop integrated promotional campaigns to drive audience engagement and revenue growth. On-site leadership during events ensures smooth, professional execution and positive brand representation. Responsibilities also include managing event logistics such as venue setup, staffing, giveaways, signage, and technical requirements. The Specialist actively engages with listeners and clients to foster memorable brand interactions and collect feedback to drive continuous improvement. Digital and social media promotion of events is also a key component, with the Specialist capturing content and tracking event performance metrics related to attendance, engagement, and client satisfaction. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with social media platforms are important assets for success in this role. This position requires strong organizational skills, capacity to multitask projects simultaneously, excellent interpersonal communication, and flexibility to work evenings or weekends as required by event schedules. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are also necessary. - Maintain promotional inventory and ensure all materials are prepped and transported as needed
