With a staggering reach of 90 percent of Americans monthly, iHeartMedia surpasses all other audio companies in both audience size and engagement. The company operates as a powerhouse in radio broadcasting, podcast publishing, and live event production, commanding more number one rated markets than its closest competitors combined. iHeartMedia's extensive footprint reaches nearly every community across the United States, making it a vital platform for audio entertainment and advertising. Beyond traditional radio, iHeartMedia is the largest podcast publisher in the nation, offering listeners a wide variety of content and drawing more downloads than the next two largest podcast publishers combined. Podcasts represent the fastest-growing segment of new media, outpacing usage on popular streaming music services and even Netflix.
The company also produces some of the nation's most celebrated live music events, including the renowned iHeartRadio Music Festival, iHeartRadio Music Awards, iHeartCountry Festival, iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina, and the Jingle Ball Tour. iHeartRadio, the digital streaming radio service of iHeartMedia, holds the number one position in America for streaming radio, supported by the largest social media presence in the industry, which is seven times larger than its closest competitors. Combining broad audience reach, innovative ad technology, and strong market presence, iHeartMedia delivers outstanding value and success to its clients while fostering a culture of inclusion and respect.
The role of Promotions & Events team member at iHeartMedia is a critical element in the company’s mission to bring audio to life through real-world experiences. This position involves supporting the planning and execution of a wide range of local events and promotional activities that echo station branding and fulfill client objectives. With over 20,000 events annually nationwide, spanning concerts, community activations, and live broadcasts, this role offers dynamic and hands-on experiences with direct impact on brand engagement and revenue growth. The position is part-time and regular with hourly pay starting at 17.75 USD, based in San Diego, CA.
This role requires a motivated individual capable of multitasking and managing the logistical demands of event setup, including venue arrangements, staffing, signage, giveaways, and technical equipment.
