Job Description
iHeartMedia is the number one audio company in America, leading the audio revolution with an unparalleled reach to 90 percent of Americans every month. This reach is more than double that of any other audio company, nearly three times the audience of the largest TV network, and almost four times the size of the largest ad-supported music streaming service. As a company, iHeartMedia dominates the audio landscape with the most number one rated markets compared to its closest competitors, and it is recognized as the largest podcast publisher with more monthly downloads than the next two largest podcast publishers combined. Podcasting, which is the fastest-growing new media, boasts more monthly users than both streaming music services and Netflix. iHeartMedia is home to many of the country’s most popular and trusted on-air personalities and podcast influencers, who build meaningful connections with hundreds of communities across America.
The company also produces some of the most iconic live music events in the United States, including the iHeartRadio Music Festival, the iHeartRadio Music Awards, the iHeartCountry Festival, the iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina, and the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour. Additionally, iHeartRadio stands as the number one streaming radio digital service in America, backed by a social media footprint that is seven times larger than the next largest audio service. The company’s technology leadership includes the only complete audio ad technology stack in the industry that spans on-demand, broadcast radio, digital streaming, and podcasting. This technology combines audience reach, data, targeting, and attribution to provide powerful, cost-efficient solutions for advertisers.
Committed to diversity and inclusion, iHeartMedia embraces varied programming that reflects the communities it serves and fosters a workplace culture that values collaboration, curiosity, respect, and innovation. The company encourages applications from candidates who may not meet every qualification but have a passion for the industry and its values.
Role Description:
The Promotions & Events team at iHeartMedia plays a crucial role in connecting audiences to the power of audio through live experiences. With over 20,000 local and national events each year, the team is integral to shaping memorable moments that bring radio stations, on-air talent, and clients to life. This part-time, regular-hourly position based in Atlanta, GA, focuses on supporting and executing local events and promotions such as concerts, community activations, and live broadcasts. The role requires coordination of logistics including venue setup, staffing, signage, giveaways, and technical requirements. The individual in this position collaborates closely with Sales, Programming, and Marketing teams to create integrated promotional campaigns aimed at increasing listener engagement and revenue.
As an on-site leader during events, this role represents iHeartMedia with professionalism and energy, engaging with listeners and clients to foster memorable brand interactions and collect valuable feedback. Additional duties include maintaining promotional inventory, supporting digital and social media promotional efforts by capturing content, and reporting on event performance metrics such as attendance, engagement, and client satisfaction.
Candidates for this role must demonstrate strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills, and flexibility to work during evenings and weekends as needed. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, with familiarity with social media platforms and content creation tools preferred. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are mandatory. The position offers a flexible benefits package including employer-sponsored medical, dental, and vision options, a 401K plan, an Employee Assistance Program, and various voluntary benefit programs. iHeartMedia is an equal-opportunity employer dedicated to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and respectful workplace environment.
