Job Requirements
- Preference is given to qualified Santa Ana Tribal Members
- Associates degree in business or related field preferred
- Excellent administrative skills and abilities
- One-year supervisory experience preferred
- Sales and/or community experience necessary
- Must understand statistics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Must be able to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
- Responsible, detail oriented and able to multi-task
- General knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, PowerPoint and Access, as well other software programs
- Knowledge of casino player tracking systems preferred
- Ability to compose correspondence, manage schedules and projects
- Must possess good time management, organization and recordkeeping skills
- Must possess the ability to coordinate a high level of activity under a variety of conditions and constraints
- Effectively interface and coordinate activities involving employees and/or guests and work effectively and professionally with employees at all levels of the organization
- Must be able to work in a team-oriented atmosphere, work independently and handle projects on an individual and/or group basis
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- A smartphone capable of running company applications and communication systems is required
- All employees are required to proficiently use a smartphone for company applications, email, and text
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Pueblo of Santa Ana Gaming Regulatory Commission key gaming license

Job Duties
- Supervises all day to day casino promotions and events as they relate to pro-forma and implementation
- Provides all required reports for and on behalf of the Promotions and Events division in a dutiful and timely manner and according to Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel specifications including but not limited to revenue, expenses, labor, business volumes and statistics, regulations, and assets
- Adheres to all gaming, state, federal and local ordinances as specified
- Works with Promotions and Events Manager to develop and implement innovative Player’s Club programs, promotions and property wide entertainment
- Assists Promotions and Events Manager with the development and implementation of the Promotions and Events annual budget
- Works with all internal departments to maximize collaboration
- Responsible for inter-departmental and internal communication/notification for all promotions and events activities
- May work shifts that staff members have vacated due to illness, no-show or other such contingencies
- Participates in selection, training and scheduling of departmental staff, off-site help and temp employees, to include contract labor
- Performs other duties as assigned
