The role of Project Superintendent at Baker Construction offers a unique career opportunity for a driven construction professional eager to contribute at a high level. This position holds significant responsibility overseeing the profitable installation of project work, managing teams directly and through subordinate superintendents, and coordinating with multiple trades on-site. The Project Superintendent leads all aspects of medium to large projects, often involving prime contracts, emphasizing safety, planning, cost control, and productivity—all while nurturing an SQP culture that represents safety, quality, and productivity excellence. This role also extends beyond on-site management to client relations, where maintaining professional conduct fosters enduring, high-level partnerships. The successful candidate will thrive amidst complex challenges by engaging cross-functionally and leveraging expertise to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to the highest standards.

Travel up to 25% is required for this role, and there is one opening available. Candidates will bring a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university paired with six years of related construction experience and training or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Expertise in line and grade processes, detailed knowledge of formwork systems, and past experience as a foreman are essential for excelling as a Project Superintendent with Baker. Relevant craft certifications may also be required to meet regulatory and job demands.
