Job Description

Our organization is a leading entity in engineering design and supply projects, primarily serving industries such as mining and bulk material handling. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, efficient project management solutions that help clients meet their operational goals while adhering to strict schedules and contractual obligations. With a robust commitment to innovation, accuracy, and teamwork, we strive to maintain a dynamic and proactive work environment that supports the continuous development of our team members and the successful completion of complex projects.

We are currently seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Scheduler to join our dynamic team. This role supports the Project Manager by overseeing the planning and scheduling activities of engineering design and supply projects. The Project Scheduler will be responsible for gathering and analyzing project information, using analytical reports, and collaborating closely with the project team to set and monitor schedules effectively. The individual must ensure that all scheduling activities align with company policies and meet the contractual requirements of each project.

The Project Scheduler's core responsibilities involve creating, monitoring, and analyzing comprehensive project schedules, including level 4, resource-loaded Critical Data Method (CDM) schedules. This role requires a keen eye for detail to ensure the accuracy of project schedules, task updates, meeting records, and the efficient distribution of timely reports. Additionally, the Project Scheduler is instrumental in preparing and monitoring scopes of work using the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to maintain control and integrity over project timelines.

In this position, the ideal candidate will also be tasked with monitoring the progress of various projects, identifying critical activities, reviewing forecasts, and analyzing progress achieved data. They will conduct baseline tracking, perform what-if analyses, and coordinate with project management and controlling teams to develop contingency plans that keep projects on track amid uncertainties.

Cross-functional coordination will be a key aspect of this role, requiring the Project Scheduler to work closely with different departments to identify project issues, monitor action items, and collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure timely resolution. This position demands exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

The role comes with a competitive salary starting from $85,000 per year and requires working in person. If you are experienced in project scheduling, proficient with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, and possess strong analytical and interpersonal skills, this position offers an excellent career opportunity in a reputable engineering-focused company committed to excellence and employee growth.
