The company is committed to smarter, more efficient digital and mission-centric innovations that drive meaningful impact across diverse sectors. At Leidos, the focus is on disruption, rapid progression, and delivering results far beyond traditional standards, appealing to professionals who are motivated to challenge the status quo and excel in dynamic environments.
Leidos is currently seeking a dedicated Project Scheduler to join its Utility Technologies Solutions team in Newark, New Jersey. This full-time, on-site position offers a competitive salary range of $65,650 to $118,675 annually. The role is ideal for project professionals passionate about managing and supporting large-scale information technology initiatives, particularly within enterprise SAP modernization programs designed for electric utility clients. As a Project Scheduler, the successful candidate will play an essential role in driving the execution and delivery of complex IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget while maintaining alignment with Leidos' mission, vision, and core values.
The Project Scheduler will act as a critical partner to project leadership by maintaining integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 and coordinating scheduling activities across multiple SAP workstreams within a large-scale modernization program. The role involves engaging cross-functional teams including Project Managers, functional leads, financial analysts, and vendors to ensure effective project execution. Additionally, this position demands strong skills in monitoring schedule performance, identifying critical path activities, managing dependencies, providing actionable insights, and supporting governance through adherence to PMO scheduling standards.
Beyond scheduling, the role includes responsibilities such as conducting schedule reviews, audits, recovery planning for at-risk projects, and supporting earned value analysis and estimate-to-complete forecasting. The Project Scheduler will also facilitate various project coordination activities including meeting facilitation, action item tracking, and stakeholder communication to maintain transparency and promote collaboration across teams.
This position requires a detail-oriented professional who thrives in fast-paced enterprise environments, combining expertise in project coordination, scheduling, analytics, and stakeholder engagement. Working onsite three days a week in Newark, NJ, candidates must reside within commutable distance. This role provides an excellent opportunity for career growth within a leading technology organization committed to innovation and excellence. Candidates can expect to join a culture that values disruption, forward momentum, and a refusal to accept the status quo, aligning with Leidos' reputation for rapid advancement and significant impact in its fields of operation.
