Job Description
Our client is a specialized general contractor focused exclusively on high-end retail interior construction. With a nationwide presence and a stronghold in the Southeast and East Coast regions of the United States, this company has built a reputation for delivering approximately a dozen premium luxury retail projects annually. Known for their commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and client satisfaction, they have developed a loyal repeat-client pipeline, serving some of the most recognizable luxury retail brands.
This organization offers a fully remote working environment that encourages flexibility, collaboration, and a healthy work-life balance. Their culture promotes continuous career development and growth opportunities for professionals passionate about construction management and luxury retail spaces. They value diversity and inclusion and strive to foster an environment where all employees can thrive and succeed.
The Project Manager role they are hiring for is a pivotal position within their team. This permanent, full-time role offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $120,000 per year and emphasizes leadership in managing luxury retail interior construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating multiple subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and client stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Your daily responsibilities will include monitoring project schedules, budgets, Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, and maintaining thorough project documentation. The successful candidate will be proficient in utilizing construction management software such as Procore and Bluebeam to track project progress and foster clear communication across teams. The role also involves supporting estimating and preconstruction activities when needed, providing a chance to be involved in project development from the earliest stages.
As the projects primarily focus on luxury retail interiors, the role demands a high level of attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and decisive decision-making skills. The position requires an experienced professional with 2-5 years of construction project management experience, ideally within the realm of high-end or luxury retail construction. Candidates must be self-motivated, independent, and adaptable, fitting well with the company’s fully remote work setup.
Travel is a periodic requirement for this role, necessitating visits to project sites mainly located throughout the Southeast and East Coast. This ensures hands-on project supervision and strengthens relationships with clients and subcontractors. The company supports its employees through a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as a performance-based bonus program. Additional perks include travel accommodations, rental vehicles, per diem allowances, and a flexible Paid Time Off (PTO) culture designed to support employee well-being and satisfaction.
The company is committed to equal employment opportunities and encourages applications from minorities, women, disabled individuals, protected veterans, and all other qualified applicants. This opportunity is ideal for construction professionals seeking to advance their career in a dynamic, remote-friendly environment managing high-profile luxury retail construction projects.
