Project Manager - Public Construction

As a site manager and project leader, you will oversee projects from preconstruction phases through to project turnover. Your responsibilities will include detailed project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control to ensure projects are completed efficiently and within financial targets. You will act as the primary point of contact for owners, design teams, and inspectors, maintaining clear communications and fostering strong relationships with all stakeholders.

This role demands a hands-on leader who is proficient in reviewing construction drawings, processing requests for information (RFIs), managing submittals and change orders, and handling comprehensive project documentation. You will be responsible for overseeing site activities, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining quality standards, coordinating with subcontractors, and executing negotiations on scopes of work.

The role also includes leading Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings, internal team discussions, and subcontractor meetings as necessary to keep all parties aligned throughout the project lifecycle. Conducting site walks to verify milestone achievements and quality expectations is a key aspect of the job, along with managing project closeout activities such as punch lists and warranty processes.
