The Project Manager role is integral to the company’s continued success and growth, requiring oversight and management of all MEP aspects throughout the entire construction project lifecycle. This includes initial project planning, coordination among contractors, engineers, and architects, diligent monitoring of budgets and schedules, and ensuring all components meet stringent safety and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in resource allocation, procurement management, risk identification, and mitigation strategies, maintaining clear and effective communication channels with all project stakeholders. The role demands strong leadership capabilities, a deep understanding of mechanical systems in construction, and expert proficiency in project management tools and software. Job Requirements

Education in construction management, engineering, or a related field
Proven experience managing mechanical projects within construction
Knowledge of MEP systems and construction processes
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Ability to interpret and comply with safety and building codes
Effective communication skills
Proficiency with project management software
Ability to work locally in the Greater Kansas City Area on a permanent basis

Job Qualifications

Background in construction or related fields, with a focus on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute tasks effectively
Familiarity with construction codes, regulations, and safety standards
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with diverse teams and stakeholders
Proficiency in project management software and tools

Job Duties

Manage all MEP aspects of construction projects from initiation to completion
Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and architects to ensure project specifications are met
Monitor project budgets and timelines, addressing any deviations promptly
Ensure compliance with safety and building regulations throughout the project lifecycle
Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders and leadership teams
Oversee procurement and resource allocation for MEP-related components
Identify and mitigate potential risks to project delivery
Maintain effective communication with all project teams and stakeholders
