The role of Project Manager at Unbridled offers an exciting opportunity to join a growing and dynamic team in the event management industry. This full-time position comes with a salary range of $70,000 to $75,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being and career development. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing diverse event programs including in-person, virtual, and hybrid events. Your job will encompass full-service pre-event and on-site planning, vendor and client communication, detailed financial management including budgeting and contract negotiations, and overall program execution from conception through completion. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and flexible, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and client personalities effectively.

Job Requirements

  • 4+ years of meeting or event planning experience
  • experience with in-person and virtual events
  • hotel contract management experience
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and database management
  • effective communication skills

  • physical ability to stand for long periods and lift/move boxes
  • flexibility to travel 5-7 days per month on average

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 4+ years of meeting or event planning experience
  • experience with in-person and virtual events
  • hotel contract management experience
  • proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and database management
  • ability to communicate effectively and build relationships
  • strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • ability to stay calm under pressure
  • comfortable learning new technology
  • ability to stand for extended periods and move boxes as needed
  • ability to travel as required
  • industry affiliations such as MPI, PCMA, or SITE preferred
  • pharmaceutical meeting planning experience a plus

Job Duties

  • Learn, understand, and display a clear understanding of Unbridled’s full suite of services
  • build and manage relationships with clients
  • coordinate with Unbridled departments and subcontracted partners
  • manage detailed timelines including all program elements
  • manage hotel contracts
  • oversee pre-event planning including menu and décor planning
  • act as liaison to multiple vendors
  • serve as AV/Production liaison
  • manage attendee registration and rooming lists
  • coordinate transportation and manifest management
  • source and negotiate contracts with other vendors
  • manage on-site program operations including staff and vendor management
  • manage all aspects of programs and act as the primary client contact
  • manage contract travel directors and on-site teams
  • ensure financial accountability including budget management and program reconciliation
  • create online program resumes
  • communicate effectively with clients at all levels
  • plan and conduct site inspections and planning trips
  • travel 5-7 days per month on average
  • embody Unbridled brand and culture
