Recognized as one of Southern California's fastest growing construction companies, this organization holds a prestigious reputation as a top-rated ENR contractor. Their success is driven by a commitment to wide-ranging expertise, exceptional teamwork, and strong community involvement, including volunteering and charity initiatives that underscore their dedication to giving back.
With a deeply embedded culture that balances professionalism and camaraderie, employees enjoy a work hard, play hard environment with regular social events such as local tailgates, team happy hours, and other company outings. The company boasts a robust pipeline of projects, significantly exceeding expectations for the upcoming years, reflecting a stable and promising future. This growth demands experienced leadership to guide and develop their teams, particularly within their expanding divisions focused on educational infrastructure.
The Project Manager role is a pivotal position within the organization, responsible for overseeing and leading complex construction projects from inception through completion. This role appeals to experienced professionals with a passion for construction management, leadership, and client engagement, who thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with pre-construction teams, architects, engineers, trade partners, and vendors to ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met or surpassed.
This full-time permanent role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 150,000 to USD 190,000 annually, depending on experience, along with a top-tier bonus structure that includes guaranteed and project/profit-based incentives. The position provides hybrid working flexibility, blending onsite and remote work to accommodate modern work preferences. Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, a generous 401(k) plan, car and gas allowances, paid time off, and strong career advancement opportunities supported by thorough training programs.
As a Project Manager, you will take charge of developing and maintaining collaborative project schedules employing lean principles, leading contract negotiations, managing BIM coordination, and controlling project scope with meticulous attention to cost, schedule, and quality impact. Your leadership will be essential in delivering timely project status communications to clients and leadership, conducting essential meetings with stakeholders, overseeing invoicing and funding processes, and ensuring rigorous quality control to minimize rework and drive timely closeouts.
Ideal candidates will possess at least a bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, coupled with over five years of project management experience particularly with LAUSD/DSA projects. Strong leadership skills, client management proficiency, and motivation to foster company growth and lead high-performing teams are essential. Experience with estimating, CPM scheduling and planning, MS Project, and Procore software, along with the ability to estimate change orders and manage pay applications, is highly desirable.
This opportunity is well-suited for ambitious construction professionals seeking to join a reputable, employee-owned company with an enriching culture, robust project pipeline, and comprehensive benefits package that supports work-life balance and career growth.
