The available position is for a full-time Project Manager within the Food & Beverage Group. This role offers a salary range of $110,000 to $125,000, with actual compensation varying based on experience, skill set, and location. The Project Manager will play a critical leadership role in overseeing architectural and engineering design projects specific to food manufacturing and storage facilities. The successful candidate will lead project teams, provide construction management, and ensure the delivery of projects that meet the highest standards of sanitary design required in food processing environments. The position demands building and sustaining strong client relationships within the food and beverage industry, contributing to business development efforts, and managing the complexities of large, multi-disciplinary capital projects.

Responsibilities include leveraging expertise in safe and efficient food facility design, coordinating with architectural, structural, and engineering teams, and complying with industry safety and quality standards. Some travel is expected as part of client engagement and project oversight. Mead & Hunt seeks a self-motivated individual with excellent communication and organizational skills, able to work independently or collaboratively within project teams. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in architecture, engineering or related field from an accredited college or university and at least 5 years of relevant experience or if no degree, must have at least 9 years of relevant experience of which at least 2 years must be at the Project Manager level

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in architecture, engineering or related field from an accredited college or university and at least 5 years of relevant experience, or if no degree, must have at least 9 years of relevant experience of which at least 2 years must be at the Project Manager level
  • Design-build and execution of large multi-discipline capital projects
  • Mobilizing and leading architectural and structural project teams
  • Managing CSA design and construction of food processing and storage facilities
  • Project engineering management and leadership
  • Sanitary design of food processing facilities
  • Proposal development, estimating fees, and maintaining client relationships
  • Food manufacturing operations
  • Construction safety and compliance
