The role of Project Manager at 4Wall offers a dynamic and challenging opportunity for a seasoned professional passionate about project planning and execution in the live event and entertainment industry. As a Project Manager, you will work under the guidance of the location Project Director to oversee the execution phases of multiple projects. Your responsibility will be to coordinate and ensure that project tasks are completed promptly, adhere to budget constraints, and fulfill all contractual obligations and technical specifications. This position blends both office work and on-site project management, often requiring engagement with fieldwork during events and installations. You'll be instrumental to the smooth delivery of productions, managing timelines, budgets, staff allocations, and resources effectively to meet and exceed client expectations. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical theatre or related field or equivalent professional experience
  • minimum 3 years experience in project planning and management
  • knowledge of DMX, SACN, RDM, and lighting networking protocols
  • strong understanding of electricity and electronics
  • experience using hand and power tools safely
  • ability to read and interpret system drawings, electrical schematics, architectural plans, and lighting plots
  • excellent computer proficiency
  • willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • ability to work both in an office environment and on-site at projects
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred
  • bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical theatre or related field or equivalent professional experience
  • minimum 3 years of project planning and management experience
  • in-depth knowledge of DMX, SACN, RDM, and lighting networking protocols
  • solid understanding of electricity and electronics
  • experience working with hand and power tools
  • excellent computer skills and familiarity with relevant hardware and software
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred
  • bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • production or stagehand experience preferred
